I wish you a blessed Holy Christmas celebration!
I sat in front of my computer screen many times to come up with something inspirational to share but I am not back in the Holy Land where I had hoped to be so that I can say I am in the very spot itself where the angel said "Do not be afraid; for see-I am bringing to you good news of great joy for all the people...to you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord..." (Luke 2:10-12)
I am truly inspired in knowing good people and trying to see Light in a world that is so dark right now.
I am suggesting we turn our eyes to Bethlehem and rejoice in the Good News.
More than ever, the world is in need of the peace and love that the Prince of Peace offers to humanity. It has been more than 2,000 years that Palestinian Christians in Bethlehem witness that "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it." (John 1:5) They have kept their perseverance and steadfast witness as they celebrate the 48th Holy Nativity under harsh, terrible, brutal and unbelievable military occupation. And, especially since October 2nd , extreme, out of control , daily violence. We Keep our hope in Christ.
