Photo: Oca.orgHierarchs, clergy and faithful from across the US, Canada and Mexico journeyed to Atlanta, GA over the weekend of July 18-19, 2015 for the 18th All-American Council of the Orthodox Church in America (OCA). His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon was warmly welcomed on Saturday, July 18, at the Council's venue, the Atlanta Hilton.
The All-American Council (AAC) will officially open with the celebration of a Service of Prayer at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, July 20, after which Metropolitan Tikhon will call the Council to order. In the plenary session, a video presentation highlighting the AAC's theme, “How To Expand The Mission," will be presented. As well, Metropolitan Tikhon will conduct an open forum, and delegates will hear the reports of the Very Rev. John J. Jillions, OCA Chancellor, and the Very Rev. Eric G. Tosi, OCA Secretary.
